OSSAL (Ossal Intermodal Systems, S.L.U) is a Spanish company developing next-generation solutions for intermodal freight transport. We are focused on improving container performance, efficiency and lifecycle value while maintaining compatibility with established ISO transport and handling systems.
OSSAL is also licensed distributor of durable, reusable plastic pallets as part of its broader commitment to more efficient and circular logistics solutions.

It is designed around established ISO dimensions, handling interfaces and operational requirements, allowing it to move through ports, terminals, vessels, rail networks and depots without requiring changes to current infrastructure or equipment.

Andrés Caicedo
Founder & CEO
Expirience
Andrés Caicedo brings more than 24 years of experience in business development, supply chain management, logistics and commercial negotiation.
At Siemens Energy, he led the regional inside-sales team for aeroderivative gas-turbine spare parts across the Americas, supporting an annual revenue target of €40 million for year 2024. He also served as the Aeroderivative Gas Turbines Champion for Quote Response Time, helping deliver an 18% improvement in performance within the past year in that organization.
His professional interests include industrial decarbonization, renewable energy, sustainability, hydrogen and power-to-X strategies, with a particular focus on how engineering and logistics innovation can improve operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Education
Andrés holds a Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the MIT–Zaragoza International Logistics Program (ZLOG), completed in 2026, as well as a Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate from the MIT Global SCALE Network.
He also earned a certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University in 2024 and holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, completed in 2007.
